Good design isn't done at the file.
It's done when the component survives contact with code.

Still climbing

Calling yourself an expert means you think you're done learning. I'm not done. Advertising to product design to design systems architecture, each jump chasing harder problems, not easier ones.

Design engineer is next. Closer to the code than an architect usually gets. Prototyping systems with AI instead of only handing them off to be built. That's also where most of my current learning is going:

Prior to Product Design, I spent 8 years in Art Direction and Brand Identity.

Outside of work, I'm usually dialing in espresso ratios until the shot is right, shooting photos in manual mode and working the exposure triangle until the light behaves, or building with LEGO, where everything has to snap into a structure that holds, at least until my cats Ziggy and Jarvis knock a piece off the table.

I'm always open to connecting, whether that's about design systems, AI workflows, or discovering new music.
